Is a 14k gold PVD plated Gold Heart Necklace actually waterproof?

Yes. Unlike standard gold plating, 14k Gold PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) creates a molecular bond with the 316L stainless steel core. This results in a waterproof gold necklace that can be worn in the gym, the shower, and the sea without fading, oxidizing, or losing its rich, authentic gold luster.

Can I wear this Gold Heart Necklace if I have sensitive skin?

Absolutely. We use 316L Surgical Grade Stainless Steel, which is naturally hypoallergenic. Combined with our nickel-free and lead-free PVD process, this gold necklace is safe for daily wear and will not irritate sensitive skin or leave green marks, even during high-intensity workouts.

What is a synthetic fire opal and is it durable?

The 10mm synthetic fire opal in our Gold Heart Necklace is lab-created to offer the mesmerizing pink, white, and blue hues of natural opal but with significantly higher durability. That said, as we want your jewellery to remain as untarnished as possible we suggest washing gently with mild soapy water and dry with a soft polishing cloth immediately to avoid water mineral residue affecting the jewellery. Strictly refrain from using chemicals on items. Avoid using clothes that are intended for use on uncoated silver.

A Guide to Stainless Steel -

Clean it regularly using warm water, mild soap, and a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove oils and dirt, then dry immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth. It is highly durable and tarnish-resistant.

To maintain your Diamond magic, simply soak in warm soapy water for 2-3 minutes, and subsequently use a soft brush to remove any dirt from the surface of the stone - et voila! Your diamond will resume being its sparkly self.

UK Standard Delivery is £3.99 or free for our customers spending over £50. Includes tracking and delivery within 3-5 working days.

UK Express Delivery is £4.50 per address across the UK. Express Delivery is complimentary for orders over £350 to one address and arrives within 24 - 28hrs.

Express Delivery must be placed by 1.30 pm Monday-Thursday, this will ensure they will arrive the next working day, excluding Saturdays and Bank Holidays. 

​UK Returns

​Free returns within 14 days. Email: Team@bloomtine.com with your order number and reason for return. Upon receipt of email, printed labels will be provided for collection or return to a depot near you. 

Refunds will be issued up to 14 days from purchase to the original form of tender and processed within 5 days of return providing it is returned in the same saleable condition* as when purchased, within 14 days of the date of purchase and if accompanied by the original sales receipt.

​Responsibility for the return of goods remains with the consumer, it is the consumers' responsibility to ensure items are returned to us. We cannot offer a full refund if items are lost in the post or go missing. 

Saleable Condition*

For a return to be accepted, the item must be unworn, the security tags must remain intact and the packaging must be in reusable condition. This information is clearly stated on the tag for the customer’s information. Should the security tag have been removed, the refund will not be processed.

International Deliveries 

​We deliver worldwide, delivery times can take 3- 10 working days. Duties and taxes are included for the US + UAE. All other countries customers are responsible for duties and taxes.
